Katherine G. Warwick is a current PhD candidate and environmental researcher at Western Sydney University. Her focus is freshwater ecology, in particular looking at the movement and accumulation of heavy metals and emerging pollutants from mining and wastewater effluent into the broader ecosystem and food web including, water chemistry, sediment, macroinvertebrates, algae, riparian trees and vertebrate species such as the platypus.
