- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.
Rebecca Mabbott completed her undergraduate studies in a Bachelor of Environmental Science at Macquarie University in 2016, with majors in environmental earth science and environmental management. Her work has ranged from environmental contaminant dispersal to the impacts of invasive species on native fauna. Rebecca has continued her studies by undertaking a Masters of Research at Macquarie University with her focus including post-settlement geomorphic and vegetative change and how it can be used to inform future restoration techniques and river management. With a background in bush regeneration and ecology, Rebecca is hoping to investigate and develop more efficient and large-scale techniques for managing invasive flora and restoring riparian vegetation whilst maintaining current geomorphic river recovery trajectories in coastal New South Wales.
